I'm an aunt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so, honestly, how many relatives nearly had heart attacks??? Heeheeeheee. What I mean is that I love being an "aunt" to the Stevenson's three daughters, Abby, Cara, and Becca. Overseas, it's really important to have that extended family relationship, so the other adults are aunts and uncles to the kids here. I love it! This past Friday, Amber and I hung out with our nieces while Sean and Lydia went out together. We had a blast and it was such a blessing to me to get to spend time with them! Kids are great. We played games, played piano, watched a movie, and ended the night with a little goofy photo shoot. Yup, we got them all hyped up and rarin' to go right before their parents returned...I LOVE being an aunt! The only thing that could have made it better is to bring them some obnoxiously loud toys. Next time =)

Letting them have cookies late at night is even better!! LOL Next time do that and tell Sean and Lyd a friend said it'd be ok.

Hi Jessica,

A quick hello from your cousin in sunny Florida! I have really enjoyed reading your blogs. Your blogs have also spun a new strategy that I have begun here at work. I made the suggestion of having Project blogs available to employees on the intranet. In this way, all employees are aware of various projects that are happening around the organization and those individuals working on the project know the status of everyone else's input. Anyways, your blog was a catalyst to an even bigger endeavor.

As I read through your blogs, I can't help but sit and chuckle out loud. Since I read them at work (I still have dial-up at home), I can only imagine what people think as they are walking by my office. I have to keep reminding myself that I'm not supposed to have so much "fun" at work so I immediately revert to the burrowed brow so people will think I'm "working."

Love,

Leslie

Not so funny to some of us! I hope those are your only nieces for awhile. So you enjoyed playing the piano. Interesting.
No offense, girls, but there was a time when your dad and I used to consider being with the nieces and nephews birth control!
Thanks for the pix!
(How neat to hear from Leslie!)
Love ya'!

I didn't have a heart attack believe it or not. It just made me curious who you were "aunting" with. Sounds like you had a lot of fun. By the way I read the Top 10 Cold list and commented before I read the explaination that it isn't really that cold. And I was feeling sorry for you!!!! Jenni

No heart palpatations here:) Looking at the picture, I just assumed you were posing with your "nieces"! Are you keeping a journal of your unusual language experiences and word bloopers? You and Amber might be able to write a book about your adventures in Poland.
