Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving! So, I was trying to figure out how to use these three pictures and divide them into two posts...and then it hit me! A stroke of genius! How could I have missed the obvious! These three pictures CLEARLY go together! Obviously, the picture of the food is from Thanksgiving. We had our traditional turkey dinner earlier in the afternoon at the home of one of our leaders, and since we were all mourning not having any cold turkey leftovers to eat---we decided to all bring different "finger foods" to munch on while we played games Thursday night back at our "home". We had a great time, played some good games (Beyond Balderdash), and ate WAY too much food!
That leads me to the next two pictures. Trying to work off the several thousand calories consumed yesterday. There's a group of us that has really gotten into doing an exercise video called "Turbo Jam". It's kind of like Tae Bo with dancing and fun music. It's great. We don't have tvs in our quads (where we live) so we have to go to one of the other buildings and find an empty room...and cover the door window with a sweatshirt so no one can see =)

Thanks for the new blog! What turbo move were you busting in that picture? Sounds like fun. I'm glad you got to play your post-dinner games. We'll have to get some for the 23rd. See you in 18 days! I'll wait for a D.C. post.
xoxo
We missed you at Thanksgiving! It was good to see everyone though - I don't think I've seen Kyle since my wedding almost 6 years ago! I had to laugh when he and Luke were watching Curious George together and Kyle was laughing more than Luke!
Miss Jessica! This is ur favorite Cassi! I miss you so much, i see you had a good thanksgiving, so did i, except for the first time...i was stuffed....hmmm...peculiar. Well anyway, in other news, we had our class play of Aesops Fables, Kellie was in it too. She was a reporter, and get this, i was a Pond...a talking pond...before you ask, It was the favorite character of over twenty people who came...(We had about 500 adults come opening night to our 600 people auditorium) Just wanted to let you know on the scoop, so happy late Thanksgiving from your fellow Cute Jacket Wearer! - Luv Ya Always! Cassalicious!
We missed you at Thanksgiving! It sounds like you had a good time though. We'll definitely see you at Christmas though! I'm already hoping for little snow so I can do Christmas on the beach photos! :)
turbo what??? that sounds like a fun video! hope you are coping with being away from home. We missed you!
Turbo Jam!! Sadly I know what that is because of late, late night infomercials!! When Ryan was in the hospital all of those days, I really didn't sleep at night. And I saw ads for Turbo Jam. Is it really as fun as the infomercial makes it look?!?
See you soon!
Turbo Jam! cool... but it is a little hard to tell how much you are enjoying the workout. See you in 23 days! Aunt Barb
